NextPage 2 support
Email support@trunecekeditions.ca. Include your device, iOS, iPadOS or macOS version, app version, and a short description of the problem. Share a document only if you are comfortable including it.
Documents and Files
Create or open a document in the system Files browser. Save a NextPage copy to keep your text, page layout and attachments together. If you use iCloud Drive or another file provider, check that the document has finished downloading before opening it.
Pages, printing and export
Switch between Source to edit and Pages to preview. Use Page Layout to choose paper size, orientation and margins. Print and Export PDF are available from the output controls. In Reading Focus, choose Show Controls to return to the editor controls.
Annotating PDF pages and images
On iPhone and iPad, open Pages and choose Annotate PDF / Image, then select material on the current page. Use Apple Pencil on iPad; Annotation Options also provides Draw with Finger. Fingers navigate when finger drawing is off. Pinch to zoom, use the page buttons to turn, and choose Done to finish. Undo, Redo and Clear Annotations affect the active ink layer.
Ink belongs to the original PDF source page or image, so it follows that material when text or layout changes. Repeated placements of the same asset share its annotations. Flowing text cannot be annotated. Marks are saved in the NextPage document and included in printing and PDF export; original imported files are unchanged. Mac displays and exports saved ink.
Read Aloud
Open a marked text passage and choose Read Aloud. Select an available system voice, adjust reading speed, and use Read, Pause or Stop. Tap the reading text to move the reading cursor.
Text recognition and translation
Use the image or PDF menu to extract text, then review the result before insertion. Translation is available for marked text passages using supported languages and devices; language downloads may be required.
