Privacy Policy for PitchCompass
Effective July 23, 2026
PitchCompass analyzes microphone input on your device. It does not record or send microphone audio or detected pitch data to Trunecek Editions, require an account, use advertising trackers, or sell personal information.
1. Microphone input
PitchCompass requests microphone access only when you use live pitch detection. Audio is analyzed on your device to identify pitch. PitchCompass does not record, store, or transmit microphone audio or detected pitch information to Trunecek Editions. You can control microphone permission in iOS or iPadOS Settings.
2. Information stored on your device
App settings, such as display mode, note labels, tuning reference, noise threshold, and input mode, may be stored locally so your choices persist. PitchCompass does not provide account creation or synchronization with Trunecek Editions.
3. Purchases
Any purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. Trunecek Editions does not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple may provide developers with transaction, sales, diagnostic, and aggregate usage information under Apple’s policies.
4. Support communications
If you contact support, Trunecek Editions receives the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device details, app version, and description of the issue. It is used to respond to your request and meet applicable legal obligations.
5. Tracking and advertising
PitchCompass does not contain third-party advertising trackers, use information for behavioural advertising, or sell or rent personal information.
6. Retention and deletion
Settings stored by the app remain on your device until you reset them using available app or device controls or delete the app. Support messages are kept only as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain support records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated if PitchCompass’s information practices materially change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
